I'm happy with this product. It is quite difficult to find a homogenizer of this value on the market. Just make sure to read the instructions and give the machine time to rest whenever it ramps up in temperature

I've wanted to buy a handheld ultrasonicator to dissolve polymer for some time, and this one turned out to be an excellent choice. I've been very pleased with it. It's sold as a 500-watt unit but the power supply is actually only 120 watts, as another reviewer mentioned.Despite that, I'm quite satisfied with its performance in dissolving plastics with the 8-millimeter horn. It is well-packaged and comes in a nice carrying case, although the stand could be improved. Overall, I believe this product deserves a five-star rating, especially for the price of $600. The power is adjustable via a knob on the power supply.Adding an adjustable stand would be a great enhancement considering the price point. However, I am giving it five stars because the quality is adequate. Adjustable stand would be great but what you see is what you get and the execution is solid

Good: Overall product quality (fit and finish) seems nice. The handheld homogenizer unit is comfortable to hold and feels appropriately sturdy. The unit was sold as 500W with 8 mm horn and the horn is indeed 8mm. The box it comes in is OK quality and seems it would do adequate job protecting the components when stored in the box. The stand base, homogenizer unit, and power supply fit well in the foam cutouts.Bad: Bought as 500W unit (as seen in the picture, it's also labeled as 500W) but power supply is only rated for max output of 24VDC at 5 amp (=120W). Not sure if the handheld could in fact take 500W, but I have no way to try. Also, though the other pieces fit the box well, the curved stand piece does not fit correctly in the box and has to sit above the cutout when stored.Overall I will be returning this unit. Though the quality feels OK, it's simply not what was advertised.

I like to sonicate some of the custom protein serums and creams and textures that I make and this allows me to do that. It is affordable and provides the same results that the sonicator in my laboratory provides. Depending on your needs make sure you pay attention to the quantity of the model that you're selecting. If you select One that is too small it will not work for larger sample sizes. Otherwise this is a great lab grade product don't hesitate.
