Bont Skates Aluminum Bearing Press
The Bont Bearing Press is recommended for any skater who frequently changes bearings. One end serves to press bearings into your quad wheels, while the opposite end allows for easy bearing removal. The bearing pole is adjustable to suit both 7mm or 8mm bearings and press fits 8mm.

HISTORY
Bont Skates was founded in Sydney in 1975 when Inze Bont, a recreational short track ice speed skater decided to fiberglass the back of his leather speed skates to gain more support. Bont quickly became the world's largest producer of ice speed skates and then branched out into inline speed skates, quad speed skates, roller derby skates, and long track speed skates. Bont was the first footwear manufacturer to use exotic material like fiberglass in 1974, Kevlar in 1986 and Carbon Fiber in 1989, and the first to use heat moldable resins and thermoplastics. Bont was also the first company to use adjustable ice blades and remains the world's largest producer of speed skates and custom speed skates.

I just tested a couple of times, but is the easiest way to take off and put the bearings without damaging them.

Anyone ordering one of these has probably already used one and that is why they are buying one. Works fine. *If you are putting bearings in aluminum hubbed wheels, lube the hubs where the bearings go in. It makes it way easier to seat the bearings. Coulda sworn I ordered a red one, a black one showed up. That is my only complaint.

I use it when I am swapping out my skate wheels. It’s fast and keeps me from ruining my bearings with other types of bearing tools. It’s fairly lightweight and I keep it in my skate bag.

This can use some small mods but honestly, with the exception of needing to be braced down for ease of use for installing bearings, this seriously needs to be in every skaters kit. It is handy as it gets.

I had a hard time when i have to change the bearings in the past. I need to use either the axles or the small hand tool for replacing the bearings in the past. Sometimes it was very hard.I was thinking of purchasing this for some time. Because of the price, I was always thinking do i have to get it. Once i bought and used it, I realized that i wasted my time so far.An easy tool for replacing the bearings. I would say anyone who skates and replaces bearings they need this tool.
