We love having this light on when night diving. Can't imagine needing anything brighter. We can clearly see the area around the transome and ladder as well as the area around the boat form a long way off when snorkeling.From the deck, it definitely illuminates any fish at the stern. I clear water we can see the bottom at 15' clearly.The quality is worth the cost. Wiring is straight forward. I added a switch to avoid plugging/unplugging.

Installed it last week 6-15-24 and it worked very well. The tool was not effective for tightening due to the shape. It will work if I need to remove it. I looped teflon tape 4 times around screw to insure no leaks. It has not leaked after 6 hours in the water. And…. it does bring in the fish- WOW! I wish they had lengthen the cable from the light another foot for easier connection

Thread wasn’t machting existing drain plug. Had to machine a bushing. Seems to be a strong LED. Didn’t try yet in water.

I've bought this brand before and have always been happy with them. Finally got around to installing them today. The pair I had on my old boat had lasted a couple of years, till the Y fitting I'd mounted them in got hung up on the lower unit and broke off.

Fast shipping, easy install with water proof quick connect, bright light! I live on the water near Galveston...tested the light for hours every night over the weekend. Above and below water. Others don't work above. Used some blue rhino Teflon with plug. Soaked the boat out back for two days and my bilge was empty. Good plug so far!

Awesome quality, I wish they would make one that was 1" or 1 1/8" diameter with a 1/2 or 3/4" machine thread as well. I'd take a dozen of them if they did.

Got them today and in a matter of an hour had them installed and ready to go, best part is they don't get hot when out of the water and no crazy fuses needed. I had the "drainplug.com" lights and they sucked, would get hot and had to have crazy fuses for each lights. I'll see how they hold up but I'm definitely not disappointed in the product I received. Seems really well built

This is my second light from this company the last one lasted 6years an I thought it was bright but this new model is quite a bit brighter than the old model an the round light looks much better on back of the boat and the wrench works great not sure how I will like it waterproof connection yet but it is nice being able to completely remove light you get back to the dock draining the boat but seams like a weak point to me might end up hardwiring it just to avoid any problems but all an all good looking very bright light from a good company that stands by there product that is why I'm getting another one

I have used underwater drain plug lights for many years. I unfortunately have been very disappointed in the ones I’ve been using even though that particular company had wonderful customer service and a lifetime warranty. however I got tired of replacing them so this time I tried these particular lights and could not be any happier they are much much brighter we will see how long they last by for now very happy
