It's very small, I do not recommend for vegetables as everything grew very fast and overgrew these very fast and then didn't survive transplant. I did have success with flowers such as pansies.

Things have went well thus far. I only used 2 of them but they seem be fine. The domes only sit on the green tray. I thought they locked into place. The lights work great, but are very loosely attached. Tending the seedlings always causes one to come off. Some seedlings emerged 2 days ago. Some have not yet. I bought a heated mat to place them on as they are in the cold continually in my make-shift greenhouse, my laundry room. The mat doesn't entirely work as it's supposed to so I used one of the many cardboard boxes from Amazon as an outer cover/heat trap/insulator. It's only slightly larger than both of the trays and works wonderfully well. I cut a triangle on the bottom edge to run the wires and allow oxygen in, and made 2 finger-sized holes in the top to allow it to breathe. I prepared everything a week in advance, putting water in it and soil to see if the wicking was actually going to work. I did not wet the mat or water the soil. I just put it all together and let what happens happen. The top of the soil was moist before the week was up. It was saturated by the end of the week. I can only speak of the 2 trays and all their accompaniment. I haven't put together the others nor tested anything of them. The 2 I've used - and I didn't use all of the seedling compartments - are without any issues. Lights work fine; all illuminate. What was unexpected but reasonable was the tables that hold the seed tray up making the water well floated as they are hollow legged. Not even the water mat would hold it down. It's not until I placed the seed tray in with soil. Both domes build condensation on the inside no matter the hole configuration up top. I can't see inside of it so I have to remove the domes, and the light falls off. All are just minor annoyances (the lights being the biggest one), but overall it works very well. Still worth 5 stars.

I was looking for an easy way to start my seeds indoors before transplanting them outside, and this kit has done that for me. The self-watering system is perfect for my busy mom life. It keeps the soil consistently moist without me having to check on it constantly. The grow light provides just the right amount of illumination, and my seedlings sprouted faster than usual.I also love the humidity dome, which helps maintain the perfect environment for germination. The adjustable vents let me control airflow easily. The whole setup is sturdy, easy to assemble, and doesn’t take up too much space.I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a low-maintenance way to start seeds indoors. My tomatoes, basil, and peppers are ready!

Overall good product. Can’t use to start seedlings that need heat mat but is excellent to transplant larger seedlings into as it is self watering. Narrow enough to sit on a windowsill as well.

Nice product. Trays are much more durable than most seed starting trays I’ve gotten in past. Self watering works great. Really like the individual lighting option attached to lid. Will be using these for quite a while.Only con is that it does not come with electrical outlet adapter.

This is just what i needed to start my seeds this spring.Ok I love seed starting and till now I've done it diy. This is my first time purchasing a kit and its so well thought out.The containers are a great size and allows me to experiment with a few sewing medium simce it comes with several and then they all connect to 1 electric power. The black mats are to slowly suck up the water as needed. I can hopefully leave it a few days without needeing to water.

I liked them so much I made a second order. First order (3 trays of the 5) I used to start some trees for Bonzai from seed. They were easy to set up and have been working great with heating pads underneath. I decided to place a second order to start my summer garden (tomatoes etc.). Made of solid plastic can be used over and over again if taken care of. I would highly recommend.

These are great! I use mine for my seedlings every year. They are easy to push out the seedlings into bigger pots or into your garden. I love this set, I actually got a couple more sets this year for my seeds. Great and easy product to work with!

The lights for these growers do not work, upon arrival they have never powered on, maybe there’s a short? However, the trays do what they’re supposed to do, but there’s nothing spectacular about them, don’t pay the extra money for the grow lights and just invest in basic trays

This is a pretty nifty little setup. You get five of these seed started trays. You can grow seeds from scratch or you can use this to clone plants by taking cuttings. Everything goes together well and works well except the lids. None of my lids stayed onto the base as they should. They should clip onto the base but the lids just end up popping off the base on at least one of the four corners. Like the lids don't have enough of a lip to hold onto the base and they pop up and leave a gap. This might not be a huge issue especially if you are never going to move the units but as soon as you go to move on, the lid is prone to falling off which could also damage your plants. So I suggest you don't move these when in use or you take the lid off before moving them to avoid any issue there. There may be a way of heating up the plastic lid just enough and pushing it onto the base while warm to reform the lip to hopefully hold onto the base better but I didn't attempt that, they should fit from factory (which they don't). So the lids are disappointing but the rest of the kit fits together well. And just to be clear, these can still be used with the loose lids, just be careful and all should be fine.
