I know that this is meant to be used primarily for horse stalls, but I'm using it in one of the "diverse" ways - to store my potato harvest, which it's absolutely perfect for. I have my basket rack hanging on the side of a metal shelf in my attached garage. It's the perfect storage solution for potatoes, onions, and/or garlic, since the baskets provide lots of airflow. I'm sure I'll even move some of my smaller winter squash onto the rack as I use up my potatoes, to clear up some shelf space. I couldn't be happier with this storage solution.The rack and baskets need (almost) no assembly. The hanging rack is one solid piece, and you simply hang the baskets on the rack. It couldn't be easier. Plus, being one solid piece, the rack is much sturdier than anything you'd have to piece together. (It seems most things on Amazon arrive needing assembly, so I was thrilled that this didn't require any.) Both the rack and the baskets appear to be made from very sturdy metal. Currently, I have 25.9 lbs of potatoes hanging on it, and it shows no signs of strain whatsoever. I especially like the fact that the rack is made in such a way that the back of each basket is supported. That means you can hang it on something like a metal shelf and not have to worry about the baskets swinging and/or spilling over.Whatever your storage needs, whether on a horse stall, metal shelf, door, or other location, I'm sure this basket rack will meet your needs nicely. I recommend it enthusiastically!

This fits great on the stall front! It really helped clean up some of the clutter that was lying around. I put my fly sprays and detanglers in it, as well as the hoof conditioner and splint boots. It keeps the grooming box more organized. It's great and has plenty of space with the 4 baskets.
