Item works generally but audio in transmitter mode keeps dropping. I bought two: in receiver mode they work no issues but either of them in transmitter mode will fail about 30 minutes into use most of the time and it must be re-paired constantly. If you’re just using it for your car as a receiver it’s good. If you want a transmitter spend a few more dollars and get anything else because this is trash.

I used this for my car, and sounded like static. It sounded like the music from my phone was a radio station.

I tried this device as a receiver (Rx mode) on both a brand new S24 Ultra and an S10+. Both had no issues connecting via Bluetooth, but the sound quality is garbage. Something is very wrong with this device where even though Amazon Music HD sees the Bluetooth device as "16bit, 44.kHz", I assure you it is NOT set to that bitrate and samplerate, and instead it sounds like 12bit, 12kHz (I know what this sounds like because of my expertise with audio engineering and production. The highs are so obviously cutoff, and the highs sound robotic and undefined. I connected back up my trusty MPOW BH129B Bluetooth receiver from several years ago, and it has full pristine an intelligible audio quality comparatively. I had friends over who don't know anything about audio engineering (mere listeners), and they all said "that sounds horrible, wow". I tried all sorts of things to debug the BAISHUN and see if it was simply set to some low quality mode, but I can't get it to change whatever low quality default it's at. I would have loved for this device to work as it should, but the price is too good to be true, and I'll be building my own now.

I am on the autism spectrum and am extremely sensitive to sound and often need to block it out. Unfortunately I live in a pretty busy apartment building and there’s constant noise happening from a number of sources. Eventually I plan to move but for now it is what it is. Found this to be great for watching tv with my noise canceling over ear Bluetooth headphones and blocking out other external noises. Battery life is great as well. Took me a bit to set up though. Turns out my 15 year old Sony Bravia tv required special wiring to get this working. Once I figured that out and found the cables I already had it’s been working really well! Only issue is sometimes it doesn’t connect right away. Just have to turn off and back on both this and my headphones it works. Connects automatically as well.

The instructions do caution that when using this as a transmitter, you may need to try a few times to pair a receiving device. I did need to, but after turning this and my headphones both off, then turning them back on and putting each into pairing mode, they recognized each other. Transmitting quality is EXCELLENT. It's just as good as having my headphones plugged into my old Zune via an audio cable. Just imagine, my old Zune from 2007 with Bluetooth capability! And for the price, this is the cheapest transmitter/receiver combo that I've seen yet. However, much as I'd otherwise give 5 stars, my 3-star rating is because of the inaccurate, understated dimensions: mine is actually 2.25 inches by 1.25 inches by 0.5 inches. Now, I wasn't sure of the product dimensions, the photos with the Photoshopped product actually make it look larger than it really is, and I originally didn't read the product description closely enough to see the stated dimensions. So I was actually very pleased to see it's very similar to a matchbox. However, while I could accept a difference of a quarter of an inch, even half an inch, in the largest dimension, the product description needs to be more accurate.
