The plastic is all one piece and not too thin. The prongs are long enough to bind 200 pages of paper. Usually I shop the back to school sales in August and pick through the folders available in the big box stores. I will order these again to save time and money and get better quality!

I am a teacher and I needed folders for my students. I tried the ones at the store, but they fell apart within a month. These folders have fun colors and after months of use, still, look like new which says a lot.
