I have never had issues with blue sea products but this one sucks.Intermittently loses contact and stops working. I returned 3 of them and finally tried a different brand which works perfectly.

I'm using this at an off-grid cabin to control the flow of electricity from a power inverter and generator into the cabin. Installation instructions were clear and concise. The switch has been in use for a number of months now with no issues and works as planned/designed.

I'm using this to replace a similar item on my boat that stopped working. It seems to work fine, and is held in place with 4 screws. But, when you operate the switch, it does not have the solid "positive connection" feel that my old switch had. I'm guessing it is a little less quality, but adequate for my 12 volt application.

I would had prefer a little more width on mounting, can no be more than 1/4 thick material. My panel is 1/2 thick plywood. So i had to make a plate to install.

It's not very deep, so the counter your installing it on must be thin or you must router the bottom to fit. Otherwise the wires will meet the bottom of the cabinet and pull out when mounting. The biggest issue is that it is only held together by two screws. When you remove them to take the mounting plate off, the whole thing will disassemble into a bevy of small pieces. I didn't realize this and when I installed it, pieces went everywhere. This wasn't common with the previous switch I had.Its been installed for about a week and now problems so far.
