I’ve had this product for about a year now. I’ve had minor issues with bolts coming loose but nothing some loctite wouldn’t fix. Heavy duty and really cuts into hard and loose soil well.

I don't have pics yet, but will add.All the failure pics (reviews here) are where the carriage bolt is inserted. The set I received, ordered early 6/2024, is significantly beefed up from the pics that show failures. They welded a second piece of steel where the carriage bolts sits, top and bottom, so it's twice as think as all those pics.Also, other chisel plow implements show the arm opposite all of the black boar pics, so when moving/pulling the bar pulls on the metal bracket, not the carriage bolt material. I saw one review here someone said that Black Boar recommended they turn it around like this. I wanted to note that the design as is does allow this without any issue.So far seems well made, and I like that they really did a lot to fix the previous failure point, so it shows they listen and act, which I appreciate.

I was skeptical, but very pleasantly surprised! Strong plowing for a UTV tool. Even took out Sage Brush and Rabbit Bush. I also used to harrow my gravel road bed (light setting with just a little pressure). I have the blade attachment as well, and they work very well together. Takes more spins around the ground than a true tractor implement, but definitely did the job. Hint, buy a few extra cotter pins, the quick release pins in 3/16" can pop loose.

This is a great tool. When used in our garden at home it performed great in our sandy soil. I then took this to another property where it is a harder clay soil. While using it 2 bolts that hold the tones on the bar broke and the brackets bent. When reading the description it said it worked on tough soil. Maybe this was too tough.

In August and September 2019 I purchased the manual implement lift, chisel plow, and cultipacker. Used cultipacker only a few times with satisfactory results. Never used chisel plow (due to timing or vehicle problems) until 5/21/22. It performed as described - "Made of durable steel" ... "for breaking up hard ground" - for about 5 minutes before a bracket broke. Obviously the steel is not very durable. See photos. (The small food plot had already been disked twice before chisel plow use.) I contacted Black Boar/Camco today and their reply: "This product comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty and unfortunately the warranty period has expired. We do sell them separate on our Black Boar website." I understand the 1 year warranty and that I've had it for well beyond that period. However, it literally never left my garage until Saturday and was in brand new condition. I do mean brand new, not merely like new (as photo of broken part illustrates). I'd already invested more than $500 in Black Boar products but I will not be paying even $1 for a replacement part, nor for any other Black Boar product.

never used it ,sent it back ,completely assembled,I would guess this weighs about 250 lbs or so ,this product is just the blades , so once you get all the other stuff you need you are sitting at a good chunk of money and you would need other people to help put it on

The chisel plows are exactly as stated in the specs and mount to the Black Boar implement bar fairly easily. At first, I was a little worried about applying too much force and bending or breaking something. It didn't take long for me to realize that they could handle the force that was going to be needed to break up the hard packed areas of my driveway. I would give it 5 stars for durability, but the clip retainers provided by the manufacturer do not handle the vibrations well and tend to fall off. I lost one retaining pin for one of the chisels in an area with little hope of finding it because the retaining clip fell out. I replaced the remaining clips with wire hitch pin clips and used a proper size nut and bolt to replace the pin I lost. After that, I haven't had a single problem.

These chisels are exactly what I hoped for, they fit our tractor toolbar perfect and are easy to adjust.

I pulled this behind a Honda UTV and it did the job, in combo with a plow to grade my driveway. However, three of the teeth have come off and I will be using a sledge hammer to get them back in shape for next season.I actually bought this to prepare my food plot. They tend to get clogged up with grass/weeds if you have mowed before use. I had no problem breaking hard, dry dirt with them except for the aforementioned clogging issue which may have been due to my unreasonable expectations.
