This thing is wonderful for arcade, retro or high-precision games. They're not kidding about the latency- it feels absolutely great to use and it's fairly plug-and-play (you can quick boot it into xinput, dinput, or other common modes when plugging it in.)Keep in mind this isn't wireless (and you don't want it to be!) This is a wired fast-response arcade controller. This is a clone of general open-source hitbox designs so the layout is already intuitive and comfortable. That said, I would wish for a few things done differently. The buttons are straight-up ugly, especially when backlit. As nice as it is to have RGB lighting, these buttons look chunky and cheap and the lighting makes them look worse. They are easy to swap so I recommend finding ones that suit your style. The other issue is the total lack of documentation. There are SO MANY BUTTON SHORTCUTS you need to know in order to change mode settings and colors, and it came with NO printed documentation- I had to keep the listing for this item up on my phone to keep coming back for reference. I can appreciate that they keep costs down by not engraving button or command labels on the pad, but at LEAST print a quickstart sheet to include. I'll probably have to print my own and laminate it to keep on hand. That last bit is frustrating, but I still love using this thing, and the features for the price range are just excellent.

So there's a lot to like about a thing like this, but it was a bit of a misleading thing reading the description for this device. The specific model I received was "FLATBOX SE BLACK". This is the matte black looking top with the clear buttons and no on-board screen. However, the description between all 4 of the devices in this listing claim they have rgb. this one does not. There's no led's on the pcb whatsoever from what i could tell. Then there's the housing itself, while it's attempts to look sleek are impressive from a DIY standpoint, it's kind of underwhelming coming from someone who is supposed to be mass producing these things. my particular unit has incredibly sharp raised plastic on the bottom left corner from a lack of polish or proper sanding that snags my hand trying to play with this thing. not comfortable whatsoever. Then we have the interface itself, which is incredibly barebone. Yes, you can get this to work on the advertised devices by swapping the compatibility profiles by holding one of the face buttons when plugging in, however, you may do this and it may never actually turn back on, leading you to unplug again and replug in and see if it works a second time around. there's no inscriptions for any of the buttons, no indicators of what anything does, and there weren't even any instructions in the box for this device when I received it. just a box with the device inside. The one thing I do like about this device is that the switches are hot swap, so if you're not a huge fan of linear switches (as I'm not) you can swap them out for tactiles if you like, which I plan to do to get some use out of this thing.Overall, for a fifty-dollar asking price, regardless of whatever sale it might be on, you have so many choices in this price bracket, even the other listings on this exact page that may be heaps better than this thing. Just super poor execution bogging this down.UPDATE: they did provide me with the instruction manual upon contacting the seller about it. This is a nice touch and shows the seller cares at the very least.

I ordered this for my son teen using a gamer and he was very excited to try the hit box. He had heard about it but never tried it.He said the first time using it was a little difficult because of how hard it was to program the hit box. He stated once he programed it he was able to use it everytime there after without any issues. My son said the hitbox definitely takes some getting used to however once you get used to it, it's faster to input moves when compared to using a regular controller or joystick.

Works great! But this does appear to be a brand less copy. Switched are quality, casing is 3-D printed. Works flawlessly on steam deck and pc

This is a versatile gaming keypad that works on many platforms from consoles to PCs to SBCs. The game pad is a nice and decent size that fits on the table and my lap nicely. The buttons are made of high-quality switches that are responsive and easy to press. The gaming keypad is also highly customizable in programming how it works for various systems and the shell can also be customized for a variety of vibrant colors. I find that it’s a bit awkward and getting used to at first without having a joystick but instead using buttons for movements. I did not notice any delay in game play as it’s really responsive. The RGB lights looks so cool and beautiful in the dark. The gaming keypad
