Budget friendly and even nicer to your hand and palms as you ride. Very cushiony and really easy to install. the plugs are a huge plus.

Nowadays, it’s rare to find functional, good but not overly expensive products. This bar tape is a great value. Looks great, can be wrapped without issue and at a great price. I bought additional rolls just in case they go away.

other than the lack of an adhesive strip, they work well and were forgiving of my failed first attempt. I put them over existing spongy grip tape, and it works well and compensates for Portland, Oregon's wonderful roads. So much for their slogan "The City that Works" -- should be "The City that Works You Over!"In all fairness, though...I've been riding on Portland streets for forty years, and the drivers in Portland, as a rule, are much better than they were when I was in high school (even though then I had no trouble keeping up with traffic as I was a competitive amature cyclist).

I will just use my old endcaps as the ones that come with this bar tape are absolutely horrible quality and not made from metal as is suggested from the pictures.

Not sure you can really call this “tape” when there is zero adhesive included? But that’s my bad for not reading the small print. Overall the foam seems decent quality. I pulled pretty tight when wrapping it over my horns. Not sure I’d use for a full drop bar setup but for my velo crazy bars I like it.
