I bought this lock to lock up my barbecue grill from being stolen…Yes it has worked at keeping my grill safe…The appearance, the weight, the color and locking and unlocking it has been major factors for the purchase…I also appreciate such great quality for the price as well…

Is this the best lock out there, probably not, but it’s decent and right now there is a 30% off coupon which makes it a decent lock for a good price.We needed more chain to lock two bikes together and this will work. We also have the option to use the U lock part, but you do need to keep track of the keys. It does come with the holder for the handlebar which is nice to have to keep the lock conveniently located. There is also a nice case, but we prefer to not to have to carry something else along. Really if a thief is looking to steal a bike no lock will stop them, but this is decent enough to slow them down.

The chain portion of this kit feels very strong and has a nice protective sleeve. The oversize ring on one end offers great flexibility in securing your bike, greatly reducing the length of cable necessary. The lock works, but is difficult to operate. The lock cylinder feels extremely cheap, and must be held open with the key to assemble the cross bar. The whole operation makes securing the lock with the chain to be rather cumbersome.

I received it and when I opened up the case, the large O ring on the chain was cut and poorly welded back together. This was clearly used before. The lock is cheap. Not worth my time

I purchased a lock because it’s very heavy duty and it will be a great deterrent to someone cutting your lock, I had my bike on my porch and someone tried to steal it. I thought this would be great because there’s no way he can cut it without making a noise and having some type of chainsaw, definitely refer this to family and friends or someone that wants to keep their property lock down and not have to worry about the lock being cut off, when not in use it has a super nice case to store it in.

Good thick heavy chain with sleeve to protect from scratching anything that I lock up, comes with multiple keys as well any carrying case if you don't use it often
