Installing Steps
Step 1: Open the cover of the printer
Step 2: Install the compatible ribbon cartridge
Step 3: Tighten the screws
Step 4: Close the cover
Notice
1. Some models look like almost the same (for example, 1600K3 and 1600K3H), but have thoroughly different structures and are NOT compatible for each other.
2. Make sure that the printer is turned off before changing the cartridge.
3. Please do not touch the white wire in the printer.

I ordered this for my sister who lives in Canada. It must be the right ribbon for her electric typewriter coz she didn’t say anything. You’ll be surprised that there are still people out there who use typewriter. It’s a lot cheaper comparing to a computer 😊

I bought these to replace a spent ribbon in my AEG Olympia XL500, and these work perfectly. I have put the first ribbon through pretty extensive use and have never had issues feeding/winding, the ink is dark, doesn't bleed, and doesn't spot.The only issue I've found is that it is more difficult to correct than an OEM ribbon. The correction tape doesn't take off the entire letter from what I've found, leaving a 'residue' behind in the shape of the corrected letter. I've used both OEM and amazon replacement correction tape, both with similar results. Other than that minor issue, this is a bargain. Six ribbons for the price is unbeatable.

Exactly what my mom needed. These cartridges are so hard to find where my mom lives in Appomattox, VA. So once again Amazon to the rescue. She still uses her typewriter for church and these are just what she needs

The "ink" is smooth, makes clean and clear letters/characters but also lifts off very easily with the lift-off correction tape. I use a typewriter mostly to write cheques so the ribbon cartridge lasts.
