It was perfect for joining a rack to an adapter. Mild steel, decently finished, well powder-coated. Not expensive.

I wanted to hang another light off the back of my bike so this bracket worked well for me. Although it includes hardware for most uses, I drilled holes in my bike rack and used self tapping screws to mount this. This bracket is sturdy for what it is designed for. Nicely made with no sharp burrs along the edges.

Good thing I have a collection of different size nuts and bolts. The ones that came with this are too short to bolt onto my rear bike rack.
