Let me start by saying the knob fit well on the headlight switch stem of my '94 Bronco. The knob slips over the stem and is held in place with a setscrew. I had to use my needle nose pliers to reach into the switch stem opening to hold the stem out while securely pushing the knob all the way onto the stem. I did this just to be sure the knob was all the way on. The vendor provided a handy dandy allen wrench to tighten the setscrew, which saved me the time of digging one out of my toolbox. Once securely in place, I took an evening drive to the nearby hardware store, so the knob got a slight workout with me pulling the knob out a couple of times (to and from the store) and giving it an extra tug just to test it out. It held firmly. In addition to functionality, the knob has etched on to the end of it a somewhat cool looking flared light just in case I forgot that it is the light switch knob. I am very satisfied with this purchase and recommend this knob to other Bronco or F-150 owners seeking a replacement --- because we all know some replacement parts are difficult to find.

The original knob on my 1993 F250 crumbled a couple of years ago. Since then I've used a hemostat, but they fly off at the most inconvenient time.On my 93 F250 there was a small tab on the rod of the switch, it's a triangular piece of metal that is easy to remove with a pair of pliers. After removing the tab the new knob fits flush with the dash.The new knob looks great and functions perfectly. Much easier than replacing the entire knob and rod which requires removing the dash cover and switch. This takes 5 to 10 minutes and the set screw makes installation easy.

I Installed this on a 1997 Ford F250 HD in less than 5 minutes. Pull the headlight switch, slip the knob on and tighten with the included screw and allen key.

It's made of machined aluminum. No plastic here.

I had a broken knob on a 1997 e350. This was perfect and I prefer it over the oem piece.
