The best part of wearing these toes socks it to prevent them to get corn, callus and your toes cuddled :) Feek so good wearing them!

These are definitely soft and so far they wash ok (but I skip the dryer). However, only one star because I wanted cotton socks and these are definitely not solely cotton (as advertised). They are a wicking material (polyester and/or nylon) and feel very different from 100% cotton or even 90% cotton socks. I wouldn’t be surprised if these contained zero cotton

I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of these! I wear a size 8.5-9, on the narrow side, and ordered the size 5-9 socks. They fit very well, snug but not too tight. The smaller toes are too long for me, but once I pull them all the way on, they stay put and don't flop around. They look and feel great, vibrant colors that are true to the listing, fantastic choice for this price point!

I'm a sock snob and I am okay with it.Once upon a time, I was perfectly happy with dollar store socks. Then I grew up and started springing for premium athletic socks from shoe companies, and thought that my life was complete because I had purchased 6 pairs of socks for an entire $20. I was a real grown-up!One day, my spouse bought a $25 pair of merino wool socks. He told me about them excitedly, and spent the subsequent days gushing about his new awesome socks. I thought he was mentally disturbed, but didn't dwell on it too much. But two weeks later, he bought four more pairs of $25 socks. That man spent $125 ON FIVE PAIRS OF SOCKS. I was about ten minutes from filing for divorce, but then, on the urging of my therapist, I snuck into his sock drawer, borrowed a pair of his socks and wore them for a day. After less than an hour, I fully understood. My eyes were finally open. I realized that good socks are so very important, just as important as a good shoe. I secretly kept the borrowed socks until my own $25 merino wool socks arrived, after which I discreetly laundered and returned his socks to the drawer with him none the wiser. In the months that followed, I rummaged through all of my kid's drawers and threw out all of the inexpensive, unmatched, holy, stained or otherwise gross socks in their drawers and replaced them with neat little bundles of DT lifetime warranty socks. I've snuck their old socks out of their laundry baskets. I've put merino wool socks into their Christmas stockings. I had officially become a sock snob, and I was okay with it.This is the first time I've purchased socks that aren't made of merino wool since that fateful day when I didn't file for divorce. Why would I, a self-professed sock snob buy thin novelty socks?Because I need toe socks. I have tabi shoes, and I refuse to go sock-less. I have two pairs of merino wool toe socks that are absolute perfection! The pairs are identical and bland dark gray, and they're both ankle socks. I need crew socks with color and happiness! But the company no longer exists, so I've been on a weeks long adventure to find someone else that makes a good toe sock. DT, the obvious choice, does not currently make toed socks because they don't want me to be happy and I've yet to find an appropriately colorful toe sock made of my preferred textile.I stumbled across these Bencailor toe socks last week. They are super cute - ultimately, that's why I bought them. I'm eclectic in my fashion sense (duh, tabi shoes?) and the blue/orange checkered socks would not let me not buy them. I had them in my cart for days, debating the pros and cons and trying to motivate mysef to buy them. Yes, they're not merino wool, but they'll be okay, right? They're only $12, what do you have to lose? And then I told myself: You don't need ALL of your socks to be wool. How bad could a sock possibly be? Buy the socks.Ah, sweet, sweet regret.I often walk around my home in socks. When walking around in these socks, the toes shift, and my pinky toe repeatedly comes out of its little pinky toe pocket. It's annoying. I'm constantly stopping and readjusting them, something I have never had to do with my admittedly much more expensive toe socks that are also admittedly not nearly as cute. There is a white seam on the side of each toe that's not shown in any of the listing images. It looks weird. It twists so the seam might end up on the top of each toe, and I don't like it. Another seam runs across the entire ball of the foot, right beneath the toes. It's not a small, nice smooth seam, but one I can feel as I walk, with or without shoes. It irritates me.They provide zero cushioning, support, moisture wicking, or anything else you'd want in a sock. They're just basic socks that do nothing except for look cute. They're so thin, and don't even provide basic protection from a semi-cold floor. Compression? That's a lie. Athletic / running socks? No. Looking cute for a couple of hours while your poor pinky toe chafes and blisters because it's rubbing against its little toe pocket instead of resting snugly within it? Yes.For many, aesthetics are good enough. For me, a self-confessed sock snob, I find them extremely lacking and am sorely disappointed.

I like toe socks and these are just so stinking cute! I can’t really speak to quality because I just got them and I’ve only worn and washed 2 pairs so far. They are thin, but that’s not necessarily bad. They don’t feel like they’ll last super long, but we’ll see. At the moment I’m very pleased with how cute and comfy they are. The toes are a good length for me and as with most toe socks I find they tend to form to my toes as the day goes on, so while the littlest two toes are always kind of long when I put them on, by the end of the day they’ve basically fit themselves to my feet. So far I love them, no complaints!

They're great socks and serve their purpose. Only gave it 4/5 stars cause they can be tight around the ankle (but not too terribly bad). So consider that before buying.

Toe socks are thin enough to fit comfortably in shoes on feet with bunion affected toes and the crew length does not slip off heels like shorter socks. It’s cold here so enjoying the warmth to ankles and feet. Just what I wanted but have not laundered yet, so let you know later.Later: My favorite socks! Just received my second order of same socks. My toes don’t hurt from being crushed because of bunions.

I have some other toe socks that are right below the ankle. I wanted some higher ones to keep me warm in winter and go up inside my pants legs. I bought the Bencailor 6 pair, and got them a couple days ago, and I think they are 'just right". If I measure from the bottom of my heel to the top of the sock, its 4 inches. I was a little worried because you can't tell in the photo how high they come up. I like the colors, very useful with my various pants, and tights. I do not have bunions but my toes have been pushed together for years, and I want to keep them separate, and not get toe issues. I'm not overweight but my feet have always been wide. So, the the thickness of these is comfortable and don't cause my shoes to be too tight. They feel like comfortable cotton with a little stretch fabric included, I like that combination. Very glad I chose these for all of those reasons.
