After COUNTLESS YouTube review videos about "THE BEST BUDGET MICROPHONE EVER MADE" I bought one. Then I bought another one. Then two more. They are just really solid mics. Would I rather have a bunch of SM58s? Shure! (pun intended). Would I rather have 4 of these for the price of one SM58? Yessir. Anybody who asks me for a microphone recommendation for a podcast, beginning YouTube career, aspiring streamer, church podium, whatever, gets the XM8500 recommended. Sounds great, feels chunky, takes a beating, and if it breaks (none have so far) I'm out $25. Just buy one (at $25 or less). Be honest with yourself, you've spent more money on less productive things.

Working well but just about the same with my other cheap mics for karaoke.

I've bought 3 or 4 of these over the years, initially to use as a primary podcast/live stream mic. I have long since upgraded to a RØDE NT1, but I still keep the behringer around as a backup mic or guest mic. I bought an additional 2 for friends as gifts and they love them. Hard to believe these give as much bang for your buck as they do.

Very balanced, clean sound characteristics for vocals. Noticeably better than the no-name wireless mics we have been using. I like the weight and solid build...feels like it will last.

This mic looks to be of nice quality and comes in case with custom fit foam.Be aware that condenser mics like this require a power supply. In this case, it is a standard 48V "phantom" power supply, which is the standard for mics. You can probably find one under $30, but they go up much higher as well.I don't have a power supply yet, but will update this review when I have one and can test the audio quality.

This is an absolute killer microphone for the money. I paired it with the cheap fifine sound board, did some tweaking in steel series sonar, and now have a super cheap SM7B. Worth the money for sure.

This mic is amazing, great sound, solid build and very affordable. It's not only because of the price, even if you have budget you should consider this mic for your home studio recording. You won't regret.

I know there are more expensive mics, and I have more expensive mics, but I like this one for my voice. It's got a little extra high-end that sounds good, to me at least.
