The 10mm fitting was not available locally, it arrived next day. I used it to repair an automobile aluminum steering tube, but was concerned about the compression fitting biting into the softer tubing,

tried to use this to splice a 2003 Volvo XC70 power steering line. Part wasn't up to the task, tried with a different coupling & that one worked. Pass on this.
