Excellent purchase for the 2010 Kia Soul with the 2.0 engine. The gasket is worth the price all by itself. The composition of the gasket is activated by the first heat cycle if the transmission sealing up the pan to gasket. A light touch on the torque of the these bolts as you need not squish the gasket out but rather slightly compress it. The filter and o-ring are as expected. I’m Happy with this purchase. No leaks.

The new Seal and Filter went on easily. The seal has been applied for well over a month and has had no leaks or issues. The factory seal was pretty much hard glue at this point but I had never changed the entire contents of my transmission. I will say that 7.7 quarts was recommended but I don't think even an entire 4 quarts went back in. I don't know if it is because the car was jacked up in the front that the tranmission was at an angle all contents did not empty. Be careful not to overfill your vehicle. Take your time and clean where the old seal was and do not get carried away over tightening the new seal. It is a good part.

Worked perfectly for my 2010 Hyundai Elantra.. It took me almost two hours to scrape off the old RTV sealant that was on the pan and pan housing. I was super stoked that this filter came with a rubber gasket and no need to do any more RTV scraping the next time I change the filter. Another nice benefit of the rubber gasket is that it held all the bolts in while I fitted the pan back on the housing, making sure that the gasket was perfectly aligned.I torqued down the pan bolts to 90 inch pounds, going around in a star pattern carefully until all the bolts were torqued down perfectly.I couldn't find any torque specs for the filter bolts, so decided to just torque them down to 90 inch pounds as well. Seems like it worked just fine.

Fit my 2009 Hyundai Elantra perfectly. Came with gasket. Dealer had claimed filter couldn't be changed. They offered to do a reverse flush for $250. I feel changing filter and pumping out old fluid while refilling is better. Glad I did it. There is a good you tube video, just search "change transmission fluid Hyundai Elantra" or something like that. I have done other vehicles same method with no troubles. (Make sure you add new fluid while pumping out old as shown in video.)It is hard to verify correct fluid quantity when done. Check with engine hot and car in IDLE with parking brake on. Pull dipstick out SLOWLY. If there i fluid on lower part of dipstick, then a dry area, then more fluid, judge level by amount below the dry area.
