I think there is a reason that the menu never gives a description for the length of this bat sleeve/warmer. Turns out it is only about 18" long. It might help on the bat barrel, but the weak spot is the handle which isn't protected from anything.Returning........

I got literally ripped off! I ordered this for my new Miken Freak Patriot bat for Softball, and I slid the bat into the cover, but could not slide it out. I grabbed the sling at the end,to pull out the bat, and it ripped off. I need a refund, or get a wider bat warmer. My bat is a composition softball bat with a standard barrel width of 2 1/4". This was such a disappointment, because now I will have to order a wider bat warmer, but it will not be in time for the opening season day of April 1st.

My daughter plays travel softball all year and so we're playing in 30-40 degree temps during some tournaments. If you buy the right size, it's a good, snug fit. Bat does not fall out when hanging on the fence upside down. My husband tested the sleeve by keeping her bat outside overnight in 20 degree temps and the bat was still room temp the following morning. It's not made to heat the bat. It's an insulated sleeve to keep the core temp of the bat. Expensive, composite bats are vulnerable to damage in cold temperatures.

This is not a warmer. It's just a sleeve. A bat warmer is a product you can heat up and it'll stay heated throughout your ball game. Amazon.com has them. Super disappointed
