The lower extension fits only loosely into the swinging upper spur arm. I wish I had known. Also, no screws included for attaching to bass drum. Nevertheless, it is a great value for the price.

I use this product to replace my old Spurs. they were too long so I decided to relocate the Spurs on a different part of the bass drum and it turns out Great! it would be nice if they could provide a visual diagram to add holes where the original spurs so that the replacement will turn out correctly during insulation.(Thats if the original hole do not line up correctly. Nice construction and pretty heavy duty,Sincerely,V Moto
