This Thermocouple has been in place for over a year and no issues. Previous Rheam, Home Depot ones etc. I was replacing every 6 months or less. Works great!

I own many rental units so I try to educate myself on all aspects of maintenance. I had a boiler installed and 2 years later it quit. My HVAC guy said the thermocouples on the market are cheap and only last 2-3 years. He said Baso Husky were heavy duty and should last much longer. A great example of paying more for quality. I replaced all my thermocouples with Baso Husky.

We go through one of these per year. Glad we have the ability to purchase it ourselves. Our plumber knows how to install it so we keep one on hand all the time. He doesn't have to order one and we don't have to pay three times the cost if he had to purchase it. Win/win.

My heating maintenance guy told me that the ones I bought locally ( Honeywell - which has always been a good name) are now made to not last. 1-2 years tops. He said their company uses these and left me the plastic packaging. He said they are far superior to the standard stuff out there that you spend a few bucks on. Sold! It's only been on the boiler for a month so I have no evidence yet of its long term durability but I do trust my maintenance guy.

Great thermocouple for the older burnham boilers with the huge pilots , they cost more but last 3 times longer than the Honeywell or Robert ShawCheapo’s
