We bought the red ones. Nice color. The straps are two layers of leather sewn together. The top layer is a thin lamb skin - soft to the touch. The base layer is cowhide. It's much more substantial and provides the structure and strength. The wrist bands are similarly made, but have a soft and attractive fur lining on the inside. The rivets appear to be well installed and should hold up well.Overall, I would say they a bit small. I'd like to see another inch on the straps and wristbands. My sub is large boned for a woman and they fit her okay. If your sub is a burly boy, you might want to measure carefully and maybe consider the ankle variation. These will tighten down nicely for a petite wristed sub. I would give these 5 stars if it were not for the size factor.If you've got a struggler on your hands or a Houdini, you might want to consider looking elsewhere. The buckles don't lock and the little strap provided is easily defeated if the sub's hands are snapped together. On the other hand, if fantasy is more important than restraint, these are quite nice cosmetically. I might add that if the sub is restrained in a manner that keeps the hands separate, these will do the job. I would buy them again.

The latch that binds these cuffs is weak. The Mr and I tired these out and didn't even make it to the juicy part. The link snapped and the metal part hit out mirror leaving a large crack. Also these cuffs only realistically go to 3 prongs deep so it's difficult to get it to fit well.Leaving 2 stars because the cuffs are soft and it seems like they'd be fun to use if they actually worked. That said I recommend high quality cuffs instead.

These are very nice. Super soft, no bruising, and I bruise easily. They were stiff upon arrival but the leather broke in nicely. Worth the price. Give them a try!
