This seems like quality bar tape at a low price. I was tensioning a lot and it didn't break. Plenty of padding. Seems as good as brand name & more expensive tapes

The typical (in modern times) 'cork' tape isn't really that much cork. It's actually a plastic with cork bits in it. Nothing wrong with that. In fact it's great because it is much easier to work with than an actual cork strip. Good touch under your hands. Easy to wrap.

Okay, this grips well when applied right. I can't explain, you'll have to watch a video. Anyway, I used this on a set of exercise rings and it made all the difference in the world as far as comfort and gropability.If you need something to wrap a grip this might be what you've been looking for.
