First, at least in my case the wood is 100% match for my cabinets.Second, It is as sturdy as a rock. I currently have five medium size bananas hanging without any problem.Third, for those who are having a trouble with the screw always coming loose, I solved your problem.Hand tighten the screw as far as possible. Then using a napkin or a piece of paper toweling wrap it around the screw. Be sure to use enough to pad the screw. Then with a pair of pliers grab the napkin or paper towel along with the screw. Tighten as much as possible. Problem solved.You must use some type of padding to wrap around the screw, lest you scratch it with the pliers.

It’s my first banana holder. Easy to put together. A great space saver. It can hold a big bunch of bananas on the hook without tipping over. I use the lever at the top for holding additional bananas. Very well made, lightweight, competitively priced, a variety of colors, with a professional finish. I highly recommend.
