2 top sides were routered the same so i couldn't put the top piecce together. of course i now have to take it all apart and package it back up to resend back. I'll give it one more shot though at getting a complete one.

The results are fantastic, but getting there could be easier.First, don't even consider getting this if you don't have an electric magnetic screwdriver unless you are young and have plenty of patience. Yes, they include a toyish screwdriver, and I'm sure that could work, but my time is more valuable than that.Second: Yes, they include a page of illustrations that helps assemble the "fruit basket." However, why not save customers a few minutes by labeling each piece?Third, don't expect all the holes to be drilled through. I was using a mini-drill for the screws, so it was easy enough for me to drill a couple of holes. Still, inspection is lacking.Last - All the screw holes are inset. That's a nice touch. However, why are most of the screws flatheads that countersink nicely, but others have a round head? Why are most of the screws zinc, but others are brass? Brass looks so much classier.Don't get me wrong. I like this bamboo "fruit basket." It looks good and is very practical, saving much counter space. However, it could be an absolute joy with a few minor improvements.

This was not the easiest to assemble without help, and I had to use my own screwdriver. The one it comes with is not great.It comes with 4 hanging hooks which are so nice. While I don't love looking at those mesh produce bags, I do love that I can really maximize my space wth these allowing for more storage of other fruits and veggies making it super functional for me.Overall, nice, well made, at $32 its an okay value for the price, I personally wouldn't pay more.

I was looking for something that would hold and organize my fruits and vegetables and let them breath without using wire products which would often poke or press softer fruit and cause them to spoil. I had a habit of stacking fruit in a bowl and allowing the fruit underneath to go bad. I was looking for something that would solve those problems and this tier fruit basket seems to do the trick.The product arrived ready to assemble. The instructions that came in the box were simple and couldn't have been more easy to read or understand. Took me 20 minutes to put the baskets together and attach each one to the other. The bamboo pieces felt solid, and even though I had my doubts about how one bamboo rod on each side could support the weight of each basket, it does it very well. My only complaint is that the screws that are put into place on the front sides of each basket would not tighten. It's almost as if the screw holes were stripped. They screwed into place but none of them fastened tightly like all the ones in the back did. I don't know if this is done by design but if they do loosen, I could definitely use wood putty to fix that problem, easy peasy. Otherwise, I'm enjoying the space this tier fruit basket provides.

The instructions were straightforward and I had few issues putting this organizer together. I suppose I may just have weak hands and it was a little difficult tightening the screws into the parts. In hindsight, I would have benefited from using a drill. Otherwise, this three tiered bamboo organizer looks amazing. The size is perfect! I am currently using it to organize a variety of supplements that were previously cluttering the kitchen counter. Everything fit onto the organizer perfectly and the counter looks so much better. A few things that I noticed were that I had a duplicate printed sheet of instructions (maybe in case I lost the first sheet), there were some splinters on some areas of which to be cautious, and the long bamboo strip that helps hold all the baskets together was missing the opening for the screw. It was partially there and thankfully I was able to fix it easily by puncturing a hole with the Philips screwdriver with which it came. Other than those somewhat minor issues, I am truly very pleased with the organizer.

For households who eat much fruit, this fruit basket helps hold much more fruit than the single tier metal baskets. Here are some thoughts from using it for about a week.Pros:- Stylish. Because it is made from bamboo, the basket tiers simply look good.- On single tier holds as much fruit as my former metal single tier basket. The second and third tier of this fruit basket shelves sure adds more storage capacity.- Since there are three separate tiers, it is able to separate the fruits into three different tiers. Perhaps one tier for organic fruits and others for other types of fruits.Cons:- Assembly was not as simple as I thought because some screw holes were not completely drilled through. I had to use a screwdriver to poke through the bamboo to be able to make the screws fit through.- Edges were not flush. This is an issue of the screw holes not mating to enable the joints to mate flush with each other.Overall, this fruit basket shelf offers an expanded storage volume to my family's fruit storing capacity. I do recommend it despite its shortcomings because the shortcomings are overshadowed by its expanded functionality.

I'm quite happy overall with this fruit basket. It was very easy to assemble, but do be careful when tightening the screws that hold the baskets together; they will strip out the holes very easily. I suggest putting a drop of glue in each screw hole, and then tightening the screws until they are just snug. Once assembled it looks very nice, is quite strudy, and holds plenty of stuff. The step-back design makes it really easy to access all of the tiers, and the banana hooks are really useful. I hang bananas on one, and garlic on the other. Very handy and nice looking; defintely recommend!
