Great preservative for traditional wood stock, anything steel , makes leather last for ever, no mildew, drying or cracking. non toxic. plastic safe. rubber safe. Persistent non evaporating. Keep a wetted chamois in a jar and use it to wipe down everything. decent smokeless powder solvent. water soluble great for muzzle loader cleaning. I've heard you can disinfect wounds with it. It's spendy but a little bit goes a long way and there really isn't any other product that could even be considered a knock off. Somehow they have managed to guard the secret of this stuff for well over a century. If you own guns, knives, axes, tomahawks , swords, saddles harnesses etc. you should try this stuff at least once.

This is my favorite lubricant for multiple purposes! I use it mainly for my firearms but it is a great leather conditioner as well. And make a wood stock shine. Great Stuff!

This is has been my go-2 cleaner for all my firearms. First I use a crappy cleaner to loosen up the gunk and carbon, after that I follow with quick spray and wipe of this stuff. It protects the gun from rusting and doesn't leave residue. I wouldn't use this to lube anything on firearm, just for cleaning.

My husband swears by the Ballistol Multi-Purpose Lube Cleaner Protectant for cleaning his rifles, and I can see why. According to him, it's the best product he's ever used for this purpose. I am using this to spray it on Pier jacks under the house sub-flooring.Have had good results for long term corrosion control.Stinky though. you will want to use it and not live with it. The smell does go away in time.
