Your cart is empty.The Baileigh BS-712M Bandsaw can be run in the traditional horizontal position for general cut offs, or in the vertical position (by just lifting the bow and locking it in place), for precise shape cutting. Powered by 120 volts, this do all machine can be used anywhere, and include wheels for portability. But, just because it is portable doesn't mean that it can't cut large capacity. This metal-cutting band saw has a 7-inch OD round and a 7-inch by 10.25-inch rectangle capacity. Mitering can also be done easily on this bandsaw just by loosening the vise and rotating it to the proper angle. The head and bow are made from heavy duty cast iron that has been precisely machined to exacting tolerances to ensure proper alignment is maintained during the cutting process. A pair of adjustable guides attached to the heavy duty head, along with eight sealed ball bearings, help align and increase the life of the blade. Add a chip removal brush and a flood coolant system to this bandsaw, and you have one great package. The Baileigh BS-712M is a quality saw. The footprint is small enough for my 20 x 20 shop. The cuts are clean and right on the angle you choose. It took some practice to get familiar with everything and get it dialed in, but after that the operation is smooth. It was shipped on a pallet, with another smaller pallet the size of the saw, with plenty of plastic and wood frame around the saw to prevent damage. The pallet was dropped in my shop, it took about 30 minutes to unpack it and get the wheels on it. Owner's manual could used some improvement, but overall it is a very good saw.

This saw is made of cheap materials. It is not built to last. Amazon sells Shop Fox which is a much better machine
