Fits great in my 2004 Vulcan 800. Went for a 1300 mile round trip with a sissy bar bag strapped on and this never gave me issues. Have to get on the bike a little different because I can't swing my leg around the back, but that's fine.

Got this on Monday, earlier than expected. Took about half an hour to install. Needed to use the spacers, but that wasn't a big deal. Came with the brackets too, which was a concern. But I would buy this again if I needed to.

This fit perfectly, very sturdy. Just make sure after a couple hundred miles or so retighten the bolts just to be on the safe side

I bought this backrest in hope that it would fit my Vulcan 500 and it in fact did...looks great too!The only negative note would be the hardware that came with it. The nuts were a different thread than the bolts and the spacers were useless. I bought the proper hardware from Menards and life is good.

No instructions so I had to view numerous YouTube videos and pictures to get an idea how it supposed to be mounted on my '98 Kawasaki Vulcan 800. However, I mounted it as I thought best and my wife finds it comfortable.

It does the job cheaply. That's the only really good thing I can say. Finish on the product is poor, looks like it was chromed before they smoothed off the metal on the inside of braces. Back pad is loose, bracket is simply screwed into base for back pad and is not fastened solidly to backrest frame. Had in on for two weeks and already showing rust around screws on pad.
