Breathable and soft material. It’s almost stretchy too but doesn’t feel like it’s made out of anything but soft cotton. It feels so good against my own skin, I know my little one is loving this too. She can’t tell me of course but I can tell when she has a milk coma and falls asleep right at my breast. This is also very cooling too. When I first take it out it almost feels cold cold but I wear it while I get prepped to let my own body heat warm it appropriately unless it’s a hot day. In Arizona that happens easily and so this becomes a nice cooling blanket over her. It’s very big and covers me perfectly. Of course this can be used for the car seat or more but I only use it for cover. The color is exactly as it is in the photo and is so beautiful.

The coverup is nice and thick and really soft! So far I've used it for pumping in public areas and as a carseat cover. I found the cover stretchy enough to allow my parts to fit comfortably underneath, however, it is on the thicker side so it would only work well if you wear a pumping bra to help hold the parts in place. The cover worked well as a carseat cover for us but I would frequently check on your little one, since the material is thick it may not be suited for little ones that run warm.

This item is so helpful to have for a new baby and the material is super soft and cozy feeling too. This is warmer to wear than muslin type covers which is even nice for cooler weather. The color is very neutral and doesn't seem to show stains as quickly as I thought it could too. This is machine washable but should be air dried according to the label, and mine still looks great after multiple washes so far. The shape and style make this more than just a nursing cover and that's what I really appreciate about this item. This fits great over so many things including car seats, high chairs, various loungers, etc. It also doubles as a blanket in a pinch too. I would say that maybe they should offer a bigger size as well as this size, but this item will fit most petite to average sized people fine. Breathable fabric that is not see through and it folds up fast to pack away as needed. Highly recommend it.

We have tried multiple nursing covers, this is the first one we have tried that is sewn in a full circle rather than a blanket that we could wrap around mom / stroller / car seat / etc. This design is innovative but does restrict how much you can cover if using as a blanket. The material is soft and stretchy, and more importantly offers privacy and coverageThe one downside is that due to the design, it may not work for all mothers. It would be ideal for smaller stature people. If they sell larger sizes, it may be more universal, or able to be used by all moms. It will work as a small throw-over blanket for all, but to fit in it with baby may be limitedFor use, my wife prefers the blanket type nursing cover, as it is easy to throw around the shoulders and cover up. This takes a bit more work to slip into. The plus side is it is less likely to slip or move once mom and baby are secure

I love that this is bigger and CHEAPER than the popular "milk" brand one. The hole is larger so I can see my son better when using it as a nursing cover. It's longer and wire too so it just fits better. I wear a women's xl in shirts and this doesn't fit nearly a snug as the other brand. The only downside is the material is kinda thick so it weighs down more when using it as a nursing cover, but on the plus side, that helps with better wind blockage when using it as a carseat cover. In my photo you can see the size difference between this one(solid) and the "snob"brand(carebears). This is a great option if you are in a budget and aren't looking for a specific print. I really like the fit of these it would definitely order another one. The quality is absolutely amazing for the price!

We ordered this item so we could feed our soon-to-arrive daughter in public without feeling the shame or self-consciousness that comes with "whipping one out" in public. The material is excellent and incredibly soft - it almost smells like eucalyptus. There is a slight stretch to the material and just one hold near the top for your neck, so this will retain a lot of privacy while still letting you see your baby. Honestly, we are just as excited to use it as a stroller cover on cooler drizzly days and appreciate all the good design that went into such an otherwise simple product.

I'm pretty impressed with this item, if nothing else, for the size of it $11 seems like a steal. I suppose it's a relatively cheap item to produce compared to most garments, given the simple shape and lack of seams that most clothing calls for.I'm unfamiliar with "Viscose", but looking it up, it seems to be the same thing as Rayon, which is a material derived from heavily processed Cellulose from plants. It is considered semi-synthetic, but is not "plastic" like many synthetic fibers (e.g. it would be expected to burn, not melt).The texture of this item is soft and stretchy as one might expect of a spandex blend. It makes it pretty versatile to put over objects as a cover, in addition to wearing it comfortably. It seems pretty breathable to me.Great item for parents of infants but unlike a lot of baby products, it's something you'll probably keep finding new uses for as they grow. Overall just a handy thing to have.

Previously I only wanted to use the covers that had the built in flexible plastic piece like a wire at the top so it would kind of curve out and you could see your baby, but that design was more like an apron style and my baby hated it and would constantly be revealing us to the public while I was feeding her and trying to pull it down. I'm so happy to discover she's more content in this style nursing cover (or at least it's slightly harder for her to pull off us) and I can still easily see her! The fabric is breathable, so she won't get too hot. Personally, I don't use it for the other uses you can, but I could see myself using it as a car seat cover when she was a newborn if I'd had it in the beginning. This is a nice cover and would make a great gift.
