I love working out with this rower! I enjoy the ability to watch YouTube, Hulu or play one of Avirons custom games. The only issue I've found is the software can be a little buggy. I will start the rower and open YouTube, then within a couple minutes the rower will restart. Luckily, I don't lose my current workout progress, but I do need to go back to YouTube to start watching again. It's an inconvenience, but I hope a future update will fix it. Will post again if it's fixed

First, we really like our rower. The variety of workouts is enjoyable, however, one will likely use just a few.Second, the customer service people seem to really care and are attentive to problems.Third, beware that the software appears to be buggy and subject to freezeups, shut downs, and loss of data. The original monitor on our rower was replaced with a new one. The original would simply shut down and reboot without warning and all data for the workout would be lost. The replacement does not shut down and reboot; however, the screen freezes in some of the virtual programs, we get "unknown error" messages often. Some programs refuse to load and require a reboot to free the program.I have spent over 3 months working with the customer service agents who have tried to fix the problems. I have submitted the videos and photos they asked for and given them detailed descriptions of the problems only to have the ask for the same information again and again. The problems persist, the software is buggy. We enjoy our rower, we don't enjoy the buggy software. The return period has passed, we will use the rower and live with the bugs.I am lowering my rating to 1 star. I have spent nearly 4 months communicating with tech support and all I have gotten is the same questions and no resolutions. It seems that all tech support can do is tell us to "reboot the monitor." I have done this 4 times on the second monitor and the problems not only persist, but more have occurred. I suggest you buy a good rower at half the price and watch TV. The optional software package is more trouble than it is worth.

Assembly was easy and as I assembled the machine I could tell it was a high quality Rowing machine. Very stable and sturdy machine.

Aviron has done something that I haven't seen anyone else do in the exercise community. They have turned rowing, considered a boring cardio workout by most to be an interactive gaming and media workout machine. You are able to compete with others in real time or try to beat another person's high score if they are not on. I love the level of competition. Nice big display, customizable feet position for all sizes to make it comfortable. Unlike a lot of smart exercise equipment you also do not need a subscription to use the basic features. A subscription does add a lot and in my opinion worth it.

I’ve had the Strong series rower for almost two months now. I researched rowers for a while before making my purchase and knew I wanted an interactive one, vice something like the Concept 2. The Hydro and Peloton were contenders, but their monthly membership fee of over $40 was too much. I find the Aviron has a nice mix of guided workouts and games, and is entertaining enough that everyone in the house wants to row. Including my 8 year old.

Got it Wednesday and put it together by myself with a little help from my 10 year old when it came time to install the monitor/screen. I easily activated my subscription and set up profiles for our family of 4. System navigation is easy to follow. My 13 year old and I have both gotten in 2 workouts with various features Thursday and Friday. I am hoping that the interactive content keeps our whole family engaged and active over the next several years.I assembled with only the tools provided without any difficulty. Very well made. When it came time to install the monitor there was a bolt but no nut. I had to rob my husband's spare collection and made do, but need to buy a better fitting nut because the screen does not hold tilt positions as is.Overall, so far I am pleased with the purchase. I did about 3 months of consideration prior to biting the bullet.

I did alot of research on rowers. And chose this one for it's interactive "pre loaded games". But u need a $30 membership to play them 😥. Would have went with something else for a $30 membership. The price Tag just doesn't seem worth it now, Since there r similar machines for cheaper. My bad for not reading/understanding better. It is quieter than expected tho. That alone i give it an extra star.
