Works like it should I would check the knot in the handle before using it came out on me the first pull and almost recoiled its self knot was to small had to make it bigger.

Just okay at the best. Pull broke after 50 uses or so. If you rarely use your equipment it may be okay but for someone that uses it daily I would not recommend.

I bought this for my John Deere CS5 chipper. It fits well. Seems to be a bit less sturdy (original starter was all metal, this one has some plastic pieces). Anyway, it works well, fits well and was fairly cheap.
