I got this to pump the water off our pool cover in the off season. First off, it did arrive cracked, but because of the way that it's built, the crack doesn't affect it's performance. Overall, it is pretty heavy duty. We had a lot of rain, and this pumped the water off the pool cover very quickly. It was actually a lot faster than our most recent one, which randomly broke. So far, so good with this one. I have had to use it a couple of times since we got it.I look at reviews a lot while shopping. I hope this review helps!

The pump came with all the items as described in the description. Having the different connection options is very handy because I may also use this pump as a backup to my permanent sump pump that drains ground water from beneath my basement floor. That permanent pump has had a couple of issues over the past 20 years and it's prudent to have a back up plan. This new pump can be lowered into the existing sump with the included rope and be connected to a regular garden hose. That hose can be run either outside through a window or into a nearby floor drain in an emergency.I also will be using this pump to completely drain my hot tub when necessary. The little pump I presently use takes about an hour to completely pump out the hot tub and this new pump should do the job in minutes. This new pump also has an automatic on / off feature that will operate the pump as it senses the water level. This will help save the pump from overheating and possibly burning up if there is no water to pump.I think I am going to enjoy this pump in the years to come.

This pool cover pump works efficiently and handles water removal with ease. The 2000GPH flow rate is impressive, and the integrated check valve prevents backflow nicely. The three adapter options are convenient, and the extra-long power cord provides great flexibility. It's well-built, performs reliably, and makes maintaining my pool cover much easier.
