I decided to try this out and compare it to the 6-deck shuffler that is more similar to what you find frequently on Amazon (i.e. the tall black models with the part that slides out to hold your cards), knowing that this was more of a 2-deck max but curious if it was better at shuffling.From all of my testing so far, this shuffler works really well. I've thrown some 4-deck size stacks in and the machine can handle it easily and a bit faster than my other model. The one down side, and this is a problem for all shuffler I've tried, is that it can't handle sleeved cards. I've sleeved some of my board game cards to keep them nice and ultimately what happens is they get stuck at the top of the shuffler where the cards meet because the opening isn't wide enough. For most people though this isn't going to be a concern since it handles normal decks of cards well.I also LOVE that this has a rechargeable battery. All the other options out there take either huge C or D batteries, or up to 8 AAs, so that's a big win on this device.

Just got this today, and have been trying it out non-stop. I have to say that I am quite impressed with it so far. So, why only 4 stars? I'm glad you asked.Every now and then I find it works best if you put just a hint (not too much) of pressure on the cards you are shuffling. It has no issue shuffling except that it will occasionally make the cards jump because it is going so fast. I've shuffled this deck of cards now probably 50+ times and it has not damaged any. Maybe two times it became clogged but that's not a big deal as it is an easy fix.So far I see no down-sides to this shuffler, it has a rechargeable battery that is currently plugged into my laptop and seems to be charging as expected. I'm sure there are better shufflers out there but for the price...you can't beat it. I only took away one star because of having to gently hold the cards in place while it does its thing.If I get another model shuffler then I will compare the two and adjust the ratings as necessary.

My friends and I enjoy the occasional evening of card games, so I decided to pick up this because we all get bored of shuffling. This definitely speeds up the process. Although it's a bit noisy when it goes on, it shuffles so quickly that it doesn't really matter. Thankfully, it charges up fairly quickly, and it looks seek. This is especially helpful when playing with friends who want to enjoy playing card games, but have trouble physically shuffling. An item like this can help them feel included. I definitely recommend this shuffler.

I play a lot of boardgames with my family and I always cringe shuffling card games as it always slightly bends them and marks the edges. I got this and used it so far with multiple card games including standard cards, wingspan, terraforming mars and earth. All those cards shuffled perfectly and it has a very satisfying sound. My kids like to take turns pushing the auto button. I don't know why I waited so long to get one.

Shuffling Made Easy with this handy card shuffler for our woman's weekly card parties and family game night. Did not realize how helpful this little devise could be and shuffles so fast. Handles different size cards for all the types of card games you like to play. Great size for travel. It is easy to use, with large automatic and manual buttons. Charges quick and lasts for a long time. Super convenient. I like it.

This is a perfect addition to our weekly poker game. It's super easy to use and handles 2 decks of cards (including older cards which aren't in as good condition) flawlessly. You have to charge it to use it (ie you can't use it while plugged in) but it charges quickly. A solid build and maybe a tiny bit louder than I want it to be but otherise is perfect. Watch out, Vegas, I'm in charge now!.
