I think they are great---I just bought these for a new garden tractor ----I also have AG tires on the old garden tractor. They don't dig up the yard and I just don't get stuck anymore anywhere. I made the mistake driving the old tractor for 20 years before I just got tired of getting stuck before buying AG tires. I would not ever buy China produced tires for my automobiles, but these run around at speeds of 5-6 MPH so. If you don't have a tire machine, have someone mount them for you. I have al old one and would not attempt mounting them without help from a machine.

I have a front end loader on tractor and these tires held up great to the extra weight when digging. I am planning to by the same style for back rims.

Tires were just what I needed and they fit perfectly. I had them mounted at a tire shop to ensure that they were properly mounted. They performed perfectly in the specific area of my yard wear the turf tires could not get traction. I was also having problems leveling my deck, and these tire helped solve that problem as well.

My Husqvarna YTH20K46 OEM tires were not holding air very well. Also, the turf-saver tread made it difficult to mow much of my property without getting stuck. Much of our property has uneven terrain, plenty of damage from moles, a drainage ditch, etc.I do not have a lawn that resembles any part of a golf course, so I am not concerned about slightly damaging my lawn. I don't want to constantly get stuck from one wheel slipping (which is actually even more damaging to the lawn).Despite having an open differential (like most all riding mowers) I can easily traverse my drainage ditch and mow it without getting stuck, even on deep wet grass. These have stiffer side walls than the old OEM tires, so the ride is a bit rougher, but I am not constantly having to hop off the mower to unstick myself. If you have rough or steep terrain, these will definitely be an improvement. I also went with the chevron style tread up front. Make sure you orient your tires in the correct direction to get the best steering response.

Installed these on a Husqvarna Z560 ZTR. The tires are a direct size replacement for the 24x12x12 Carlisle Turfmasters. I measured the blade height before and after replacement and there was less than 3/16" change in blade height. But a huge change in traction, if you don't rush the mower. Slopes that I slide off of with the Carlisles, I stuck to if I didn't get in a hurry. Going up slopes is a huge improvement. Going down you have to watch the mower's momentum, otherwise you'll make a huge mess when you try to stop. Turning damage wasn't as big a problem as some reviews indicate but I never let the tires stop turning so that likely accounts for the lack of divots. I do like that the few times I spun one of the tires, I immediately knew it. These do much better in clover as well. Again, you can still slide if you're not careful but you don't have to be near as careful as with turf-type tires. Love that they are 6-Ply rated too.

Great tires for the price easy to put on the rims with a little dish detergent, easy to seat the beads. Also with the smaller diameter the machine sits closer to level even when tilling deep soil better oil control in engine running closer to level. Best fit for older Troy built tillers.
