Run the sterilization program 249.8°F / 121℃ for 20 minutes or 273.2/134°C for 4~6 minutes. Observe whether the indicator tape changes from yellow to black after the sterilization. Note It is used for steam autoclave and sterilization only. Not for dry heat or EO sterilizers.

The item was ordered in July and received in July only to realize on opening the package that the item would expire in July 2024. I don't know why I was sent an expired item but I do note that it has been happening a lot lately.

I bought this to use inside of my mushroom grain. Spawn jars looks like it worked perfectly. I also bought some of the strips which I think are a complete rip off, cause they’re exactly the same thing, but the price is astronomical compared to the tape and the tape actually works better as you can see in the photos.

I needed this type of tape to use on my jars that I would be sterilizing in my pressure cooker. I’ve never used a pressure cooker or auto clave tape. Auto clave tape worked perfect. Did not lose its stickiness around the foil on the jars I pressure cook them for 20 minutes and the auto clave indicator that change colors. Very happy with this.

I used this tape to sterilize grain for mushroom cultivation. I have not had ANY contamination. I use sterile practices in other steps but the indicator tape has been a great peace of mind.
