Here is a tiny, tough, two channel stereo audio AB switch for 1/8" (3.5mm) plugs that have three contacts on them. Send your audio to output #1, output #2, or mute the audio if you put the switch in the middle position. This A B channel on/off selector can be used backwards too. Send in your two audio signals and switch to the one you want to come out the middle jack. You can let input #1 come out, input #2 come out, or mute both. This item measures 2 x 1 3/8 by 5/8 inches thin (50mm x 35mm x 15mm) and weighs 0.53 Ounces (15 grams). No batteries required. The audio cables are not included so be sure to get the right lengths you need. This switch is assembled in Canada using quality parts. This item is packaged very simply, in a heavy gauge zip-lock type bag to reduce environmental waste and extra cost. Remember, this switch is for plugs with three contacts or three sections on the end. If your audio plug has four sections on the end, or if you have a microphone headset then be sure to check out the other switch model I offer here on Amazon. Please let me know if you have any questions by contacting me here through Amazon. Have a nice day! -Clark

No complaints about this switch. Easy to set up. The selector is sturdy. I expect this to be around for years.

Wasn't expecting much. Actually anticipated some loss of sound quality but to my casual pleb ears. The sound quality is just as good. Will update if it poops out after a short period.

I bought this box to do something it's not advertised to do, which is why I'm still giving it four stars. It does what it says it will, which you can see from the many reviews left by folks to are using it the way it was intended. I planned on using it to switch between two inputs for my Yaesu FT-60, which uses a TRRS jack for an external speaker/mic/PTT input. I wanted to be able to connect both a corded speaker/mic for voice use and my DigiRig for packet radio and use this product to switch between them. This product uses a DPDT (double pole double throw) switch to change between the two sources. This means it's only switching the left and right audio channels, or the TR part of the TRRS jack. The remaining two contacts, the RS, are bridged across all three jacks. This is fine if you're using the product for stereo audio, but it creates some undesirable results if you're using it for anything else. The only reason I'm docking a star is because the product really should use a 4PDT switch so that it can actually switch all four contacts between the jacks. Granted, this would increase the cost and complexity of the device by a few dollars but it would mean that each jack is fully isolated from the others. Is this strictly necessary when all you need it to do is work for switching stereo audio? No. But from an engineering perspective it would have been a better, more robust and functional design.

The actual item is a lot smaller than I expected, but it hooks up easily and has so far worked flawlessly. I may update this review later, but we have one sound bar being shared by two machines and it's been doing exactly as I needed.

I’m surprised at how well this works. As mentioned in other reviews, the build is plastic but it seems sturdy enough. Definitely worth the money for a switch that works so well. The sound quality isn’t lessened any (from what I can tell). I am switching between some Audio Techinca ATH-M50xs and a TaoTronics sound bar and there isn’t any noticeable loss in quality. There isn’t any white noise to my headphones while in either switch position. Also, there is no loud pop when switching between the sources.

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. I bought this so that I could swap between satellite radio and AUX input in my car with just a flip of a switch and it does exactly that. I love that it's analogue and the switch between inputs is instant. It feels very solid and well made, I dropped it on the ground when I was installing it and it didn't even get a scratch and it still works flawlessly. It was a lot smaller than I though too, which was a pleasant surprise. It's very compact and was able to fit somewhere nice and out of the way. The only improvement I can think of is if it came with double sided tape in the package or already installed.

Small and low profile. Works great. Much better than manually plugging and unplugging all the time. No glitches when inputs switched.EDIT: Product worked great for 5 months and now is quitting on me. I have to jiggle switch to hear from my headphones and I hear static or only from one ear. I replaced the cord, the headphones, and found it was the switch. When I plug headphones or speakers directly into computer, they work perfectly so it's definitely this switch.I emailed company and got no response.
