This is probably the best basic mixer one can get at this price point. Anything cheaper will lack one, or more of the basic functions. Mixer has inputs for microphones - XLR for a microphone that needs 48V power, TS for an ordinary microphone or an instrument, mini TS/TSR input. It also has headphones output so that one can monitor the recording. It posers through USB C cable and connects to a PC through another USB C cable. Alternatively, you can connect with Bluetooth. It does have a lot of effects, but at this time I have no use for them. It has a feature to change the voice to man's/woman's/child voice. However, these are "funny" effects, and I have no use for them.

So - this Mixer/Interface has some neat features - and a few I couldn't figure out yet... Plugged in my mic, and headphones, powered up and easily connectd to my phone via Bluetooth - Music level is adjusted by the large central knob - karaoke/voice delete is engaged by tapping the "Cancel" button (see what I mean? needs a manual - it would be clearer if it said 'voice cancel' or karaoke') for the couple songs I listened to it did remove the vocals 99% - but, it took a lot of the music with it - I'm sure that's dependant on the mix of the music (Vocals are usually center, instruments typically one side or the other, the software probably just cuts anything that's on both channels)Vocal effects - there's adjustable reverb, and several selections for type of reverb (again, a manual would be great to identify that "Concert" "KTV" "Studio" are different settings for this - I think)I didn't figure out what the Pitch/Key buttons do, other than saying "B Flat" when you tap the Bb buttonThe studio effects - Laugh track, Applause, Face Slap, Gunfire - do just that, gives you a few seconds of the tapped effect.Voice changing, this gives giggles! You can change to Male?Female/Child, or "Monster" for that deep grumbly tone. One gripe - the labels for the knobs - are very hard to read agains the brightly lit buttons, and they're red text on a black background.... My eyesight isn't great so you might have an easier time (I'll just grab the label maker and print some black and white labels)Once I figure this thing out better I'm betting it'll be great fun!

I have a nice PreSonus audio interface, so I was not in the market for another but when I saw this, I was intrigued that it 3,000 mAh battery, which opens up a lot of possibilities—recording and mixing on the go—so I decided to give it a try.As an audio interface goes, it's pretty basic:- it has an XLR and instrument 1/4" / 6.3mm jack- the standard highs/mids/lows, gain controlsIt does come with other features, like canned sound effects, but in my experience, they sound pretty terrible; think the quality of on-hold music.Overall, it worked well for a few sample recordings—the noise floor was OK—and the battery keeps it powered for hours.I did not like all of the LED light effects. They get very distracting very quickly. Furthermore, there is next to no documentation for this, so if you are a first-time user, it might be better to stick with a name-brand audio information as you are likely to find a lot more support tutorials and videos.

I do some online djing and this is a great tool to add to my arsenal. I use Mixxx and I have this also plugged into my PC. I'm able to use this as the power supply for my condenser mic and that works great! There are a lot of options which I'm still learning, some of which are good and others I will never use! Overall, this is built well and has a nice footprint on my desk, it is not huge, and it's also lightweight. I think that I'll get a lot of use from this in the future and would recommend it!

Integrated nicely into Mixxx. The customizable sampling is nice but takes a bit to figure out how to record correctly.

I got the Hosabely Audio Interface for some podcast projects I like to create and didn't want to take up a lot of space on my desk, nor did I want to break the bank either. The interface is made well, lightweight, and all knobs and buttons are laid out well. It does take a little getting used to as far as what knob does what, but I expected that going into this. All I really needed was to be able to have my mic go into my computer into my editing program. There are several "bells and whistles" on here, much of which I have no use for for what I'm doing, but I bet it caters to a younger audience and sure they love it. The sound quality is good; although, I can tell this would be considered a basic/learning unit overall. It does what I need it do, so I'm happy with it.

They don't tell you you have to have your own mic and other equipment before you buy this.
