Works as described on PS2. That said, you MUST change in settings of the Ps2 to use the proper type of cable. this is a COMPONENT cable, so needs to be set to the YPbPr setting, not RGB (composite type cable). This is done in system configuration. Get there via starting your PS2 without a disc inserted.
