Works great, came with pads. I didn't see this in the description so I ordered pads separately. I have an extra set now.

Fast shipping , it needed a bit of attention to install and recommend replacing the master cylinder if you are going to replace this one

This is a really poor design I tried to use on a go-cart rebuild. The brake pads simply fall out and the caliper only expands about 1/3 the distance it should despite over a quart of brake fluid running all the air out of the break line. I'm really disappointed with the quality and design.

Easy to install, good product value for the money, over all nice break Caliper for the Hammer head 80T mid size go karts, also no tool required to bleed the breaks, just unbolt your old breakline, then caliper, bolt in new your new break caliper using same bolts! Bolt the breakline back on using new breakline bolt, it comes with new caliper! Now, once you have complete that, there is a smaller bleeder insert looks like a grease insert, unscrew that just lose not all the way out just enough to where it won’t fall out but won’t hold pressure back then get some break fuild , and pump the breaks tell you see break fluid coming from the bleeder insert, then tighten bleeder insert and fill break fluid to required ammont, in break fluid resavore, pit cap back on and breaks should work, not as you pump the breaks the cap on the master cylinder needs to be on

The caliper is just that, nothing special and functions as it should. My issue is with the pads. First off the design for the piston side is ridiculous. There is no clip and the pad is held in by pressure only. So when it wears out, which it does pretty quickly, the pad will fall out of the assembly and cause you to overextend the piston. Which leads to not being able to reset the piston and can also cause severe rubbing on the disk. My suggestion would be to add a retaining clip for the pad, and give them a stronger wear surface as they wear out way to fast.
