This bulb is made of thick rubber and seems to be of much better quality than comparable products. It easily primed my mower engine and eliminated that headache. Well worth the money.

I put this on a Wheel Horse 520H with a Onan 220 engine. It really helped with starting if the tractor has been sitting for some time. I like the simplicity versus putting an electric fuel pump on the machine. It works great and very high quality.

This has held up great on my old mower with a Kohler Magnum engine. I give it a squeeze to prime the fuel pump, and make up for the evaporation in the carburetor. In my experience the Kohler pumps are weak. First, don't waste time on aftermarket fuel pumps, get OEM. But even the OEM pumps will weaken pretty quickly. Probably ethanol weakens the pump diaphragm and check valves over time, and they seem to have a hard time pumping fuel up against gravity. Anyhow, rather than sit there cranking the engine over and over again, trying to get fuel to the carb, I just give this bulb a squeeze first, and then it fires right up. Save your electric starter and battery and put this in.

Nothing much to say about this product. It works, but it has no moving parts, so why wouldn’t it work? Not sure about durability. I’ve only had it a week

The pump worked fine, seems like durable materials. If Attwood had included a couple of 5 cent hose clamps the install would have been easier. Why be so miserly on a premium priced product?

This is the only aftermarket brand of primer bulb that is trustworthy. Other cheap Chinese knock offs have a very attractive price but the rubber splits in months and it’s not able to withstand being exposed to gasoline or UV rays for long. These units from Attwood last several years, they are the best on the market unless you get one from an OEM boat engine manufacturer such as OMC or Yamaha. I use this particular one on my John Deere lawnmower which had always been hard to start after sitting for more than a day since new. Now I squeeze it two times and it fires up instantly.

This primer bulb was used on my lawn tractor as it was slow starting due to being starved for gas. It now starts within a couple of seconds every time. I picked this product because I have years of boating experience and I know to stay away from the cheaper Chinese imports. The internal check valve keeps the gas line primed near the carburetor. This is a heavy duty reliable primer bulb that will last for years. I have used this all year without any problems.

The only brand squeeze bulb to buy. The others just don"t last. Definitely worth the extra money.
