Great for securing bait to a hook or hooks. I've used it for squid or anchovies on drop shot or fish finder rigs. Keeps bait on during hard casts or with bait-and-wait methods.

would be 5 stars but 1st "got lost in mail after slow to ship"--- otherwise this is the best thing to make sure bait stays on the hook longer

This works as advertised, but I will admit that it doesn't work great on chicken livers...too mushy to keep on the hook.

Very useful for keeping soft bait on the hook. Definitely recommend it to anyone who loses bait while casting.
