Holes for the dolls to connect the top to the bottom weren’t drilled deep enough.

Some reviews say this was hard to put together or it wasn’t built sturdy, I found none of this true. It was a little time consuming to put together, it is press board, so although the instructions state you can use a drill, don’t- hand screw everything and you’ll be fine. On the backing board there is a piece for the top and bottom marked- make sure to align these as close to the top and bottom respectively or when you put the two half’s together the backing might not align correctly- it wasn’t mentioned in the instructions, and I had to trim a sliver to get a good fit. It is tall and space saving, so I highly recommend using the included anchors for sturdiness. Lastly some state the wasted smaller center shelf, remember it is a multi media center unit, so it is for cd style cases in the center, if not using cds, you’ll be forced to put your dvd/Blu-ray on their sides in this center shelf. This unit holds what the next price point is nearly twice as much, so really no complaints for the price and storage capabilities.

Just fix it on the wall and it won't move. Perfect for movies collection. I bought 3 of them.

Still need to sort them but I got this because my movie collection was getting a little crazy. It took about 2 hours to put it together. You basically put together half of it, and then repeat the same steps for the other half, then stick them together. You’ll need a drill. It’s very tall and a little wobbly before you add weight to it.

I've been looking for a Bluray shelf for a LONG time. Saw a friend post a picture of hers online and I knew that was the one. This one. Before, I was using IKEA Kallax shelves (those cube ones) and they're ever so slightly too narrow to comfortably fit two stacks, there's a lot of wasted space, and if you wanna get to the back stack you gotta pull out the front one. Lame.THIS thing, for only $100, was exactly what I wanted. Purpose-built Bluray shelving capable of holding 500+ discs, including some DVDs I still have. There's even a little shorter shelf in the middle that you could probably but CDs in, or maybe movie trinkets, but I put my collection of Field Notes in there. Fits my wall space PERFECTLY too which is awesome.Building it took 20 minutes or so on my own and is dead simple. Just a buncha screws. Great shelving.

This media storage system suited my needs so much, I bought three of them! Now I have ample space so spread out and display my collection. The finished product looks great. Proper assembly requires more attention to detail and planning than you might expect. The instructions are poorly written. Instead of fully constructing the top and bottom sections with their backing and the base and then connecting them together as the instructions state, I recommend:1. Construct the top and bottom sections without their backing and without the base. Screw the shelves and supports together back side down ensuring the backs are even with each other so the backing will be flush when you attach it later.2. Connect the top and bottom sections with the cam lock connectors so the sections are flush. Don't over tighten because the included cam locks are very cheap and WILL disintegrate with too much force.3. Lift the entire assembly FROM THE SIDE and flip it over so the front side is down and the back side is up. If you lift from the top or bottom, the weight WILL put too much pressure on the cam locks and wooden dowels and the whole thing could break. LIFT FROM THE SIDE!4. Attach the backing from top to bottom, aligning the top backing section flush (or nearly flush) with the top. As you attach the backing sections top to bottom, adjust the shelves and supports to make sure they're square. Even with everything screwed together, it's all particle board and can flex. Lining it all up as you're attaching the back will ensure the angles are true. And make sure each backing section is flush tight with the section above it. The screws are little, but they'll really move the backing around on you if you're not careful. The bottom backing section will extend about a half an inch past the supports; you'll screw this edge into the base after it's attached.5. Once the backing is attached top to bottom, LIFT FROM THE SIDE AGAIN to flip the whole assembly over so the back side is down and the front side is up.6. Attach the base. The bottom backing section should line up flush (or nearly flush) with the bottom of the base. Depending on the flooring in the room where you're installing this, you may want to considered attaching some furniture glides at this point.7. Once the base is attached from the bottom (and you've affixed the appropriate furniture glides if desired), LIFT FROM THE SIDE AGAIN so that the whole assembly IS ON ONE SIDE. You may want some help to keep it steady while it's in this position.8. Screw in the bottom backing to the base.9. Once the last screws are in place and it's still on its side, PIVOT the whole thing up so that it's upright.10. Position where you want it and anchor the top in place. My shelves are in a carpeted room, so I used 8 carpet glides (one at each corner and two under each of the two center supports. I also added some felt pads to the back so the shelves wouldn't scratch up the walls as I positioned them. The one gripe I might have is that the shelves are not quite tall enough for most of my box sets. They can rest securely on top, but it'd have been nice to be able to fit them inside the shelves. Regardless, I'm very happy with the look and functionality of these shelves. RECOMMENDED
