The NEW Standard in Septic Riser Kit Safety

All of our kits include the secondary safety barrier at no additional cost. Why is this important? The patent pending Septic Riser Adapter Flange with Integral Safety Barrier provides added protection from an incidental security breach of the primary septic riser cover. Our Septic Riser Safety Barrier provides piece of mind.

Stop the “search and dig” exercise!

assembly was extremely easy. Was able to easily drill through side for electrical conduit to pass through. Ribs are hollow and drilling a 1" hole for conduit exposed it. Filled with expanding foam and sealed with silicone caulk.

Lid, riser and fall prevention device all high quality. The base comes in four pieces that snap together really easily and it works fine but I feel like it you be a little better if it was one solid piece. That being said it all went together great and seemed really solid. I had a square opening and there was plenty of butyl tape. I'm really happy with the product and the ease of installation. I would definitely recommend this product.

400 bucks for this is pricey ,200 each end . I had my septic pumped just before I installed them and the Septic guys said " Should have called us first we do risers using your concrete lids for 100 bucks a side . So while it would have saved me 200 bucks it wasn't the " Look " I was going for . These look very nice and once the grass grows back around them I will be pleased . would I do it again ? Yes .

I am pleased with the overall quality and construction of the materials. The provided butyl is thick and I did not have an issue with sealing. I did, however, purchase thinner butyl tape to fit into the lip around the edges of the flange for a second, outer seal.I was surprised that a 5/32 concrete drill bit was not included. Every box of concrete fasteners I have ever bought included one. So make sure you have one.I was not pleased with the method for attaching the flange to the riser, which required screwing the two together. I found that the tabs on the flange where the screw drives through don't appear to be stout enough. I had a couple of screws strip out the plastic where they fastened to the riser and some tabs deformed when the screws were driven. This happens because there is about a 1/2" gap between the tabs in the flange and the inner surface of the riser where the two parts need to be fastened. When the screws are driven, the plastic tabs are pulled under tension and the plastic does not seem durable enough to handle the tension properly. I recommend driving the screws with care.

All parts were perfect but buy your own tapcon screws. Theirs snapped (drilled concrete holes correctly). Because edges might not be perfectly flat I ran a thick bead of liquid nail around edges and caulked exposed screw heads that weren’t stainless steel (tapcon heads). Very happy with my choice.
