Polyester has come a long way in the last fifty years - this polyester 'corduroy' flannel feels a lot more like traditional cotton than a shiny, plasticky leisure suit. The outside of the jacket is soft and fuzzy - again, like cotton - but just that little bit stiff to give away that it's actually polyester. It's also a little bit coarse on the inside, and tends to be a little more rigid in the way it hangs off the body. You trade some extra water resistance for breathability, but overall it's a pretty close imitation of real cotton.This flannel/jacket works best as a layering element - size L is a generous fit and meant to be worn open and untucked. I'm not a huge fan of the single button at the wrist, but overall it fits well and looks good.

This shirt is amazing! Incredibly light, soft and stretchy! Very true to size! Corduroy look but feels by far softer and so moveable! The look without being in a stiff thick corduroy shirt / jacket! But fits like a normal shirt size. For an oversized look, size up one size.
