I love the synthetic material. Not quite as nice as Lizard Skins, but it does the job. The rolls are a little short if you overlap a decent amount. The tape is a little lumpy when applied, but I expect it to get packed down with more use. If applied properly, this tape does not budge.

My favorite bar tape is Lizard Skins, but it has two faults, it is expensive and it gets slick in the summer with sweat buildup. The arundel Gecko tape works quite well when wet, no issues with durability, and has a nice feel. Additionally, if you are using Di2 sprint shifters and need to cut the tape there is no issue with the rest of the tape tearing (issue with lizard skins sometimes). I have read a few complaints about there not being enough for the whole bar....i have no clue what people are doing to need that much. If wrapped properly there is plenty for a normal 42cm bar.

Only bar tape I use. I ride bare handed most of the time, and this has a great feel even with a little sweat on your hands. It does come in a little shorter length then most of the other brands, you have wrap sparingly in order for you to reach. But I haven't had a problem on 44cm bars or 42cm.

The tape it's self is nice and looks good once installed. I'm trying to figure out why a tape this grippy needs adhesive backing. The feel of the tape is comfortable and there is a noticeable reduction in vibration. This is not so much a gripe against Arundel but what seems to be all bar tapes these days. They all come up about 6 inches short when performing a proper figure eight wrap around the hoods. Common manufactures does that extra little bit of tape really save enough money to result in lost profits?
