Saw a few reviews stating that this was very thin material and not worth it... I'm glad I disregarded those reviews. This was exactly what I was looking for, it broke up the sea of black between the fairing and smoked windshield. This is made exactly how you would think it should be, it's a trim piece so it needs to be thin enough to bend to the contour of your fairing, while still being beefy enough that it won't disintegrate as soon as you torque down on the mounting hardware. It's a strip of aluminum windshield trim, it's not a steel girder for framing a building.

Saw some bad reviews but went ahead anyways. Glad I did. Compliments the bike just how I wanted it to. It’s a thin metal strip but it’s supposed to be. Quality is fine for what it is… decoration trim. $31 is expensive for the material hence the 4 stars. Happier than I expected to be.
