Ariat is my go to boot brand. I've only worn them for a few days but so far I love them. I do a LOT of walking and have issues with my wide feet and ankles. I ordered half a size up so my insoles would fit and I can wear extra thick socks with them. They have a slight heal so if I wanted to ride in them I can. They are versatile and comfy.

Early in the game as I’ve only had them for a few weeks. I love the leather. It feels strong and well made. I chose them because of the look and the description is spot on. I’ve worn them quite a few times and they are very comfortable. They feel secure and because NH is still covered in stow I can tell you they are waterproof. They feel like I’ll have many years of comfort and security in the fit.

These are my second pair in this style, the other styles don’t feel the same ( to me) I love the fit, they are lightweight, durable - they have seen me through rain, sleet ,snow and uneven terrain. They do not require a break in period. They are good to go right out of the box. I wear them just about every day. It’s the kind of shoe you hope they don’t stop manufacturing with the same quality materials and oversight.

They also work/look great with any style pants. I love mine with turquoise accents! (Color is woven into the laces too). Good gripping soles with a heel making it a safe riding boot. I’m an outdoor woman who likes a little style with the functionality. I use them in the barn, pastures & riding.

These are so comfortable. I can wear them all day. Only this is they do run large so go down half a size to what you would normally wear.

These boots fit perfectly. Comfortable - on my feet for 10 hours a day and feeling good. Only thing is the heels are a bit hard so I got blisters and had to put some heel pads in but now there perfect. Really tested out the waterproofing walking through long wet grass and mud but feet were still dry. Just hope they last longer than my last pair - time will tell.

Just maybe a bit more grip on the sole for walking in mud 🙃

This is the 2nd pair of these boots I've bought. The first pair lasted 7-8 years. They were very comfortable. And waterproof. But this 2nd pair is already tearing apart.

My old Ariat hiking boots had a portion of the sole come loose. But considering I wore them for approximately 15 years, I can't really complain. I went right back to Ariat for the quality and comfort. I have been wearing these right out of the box with no breaking in period. And they are truly waterproof, which my old ones were not, so this is an upgrade for working outdoors. I am an Ariat fan, and have three pairs of their boots. You just cannot go wrong with the brand.

I'm outdoors a lot in the typical british weather and this season has by far been the driest my feet have ever been. With the added bonus that they look good when you pop in the local for refreshments after a long day on the farm or shows

No GRIP whatsoever ....dangerous if you are going down any hills !! Only buy these if you are walking on totally flat ground.

These are decent, nice-looking boots. I was looking for something tough and waterproof for outdoor work-and hiking. As others have noted, they can run a bit large. I have a narrow heel, high arch, and wide toe area (duck foot). I got the 9B (normal shoe size is 9), and overall, it fit a bit roomier than I have been used to in past boots. This is a good thing for me, as it allows me to put some heavier socks and an orthotic on top of the insert, something I can't do with other hiking boots. And, it's nice to have good toe room so that I don't mash my toes into the boot toe when hiking downhill. I really like how comfortable these boots are, and they feel nicer the more I wear them.I do suspect that the boots that were shipped to me had been returned by a prior customer, as one of the molded toe supports (stuffed inside the toebox) was missing, and wadded tissue was used instead! And there were a few scuffs on the toes, which did wipe off. Not a big enough issue to be a deal-breaker though.

Super shoe! I am the queen of blisters, after 3-4 hour hikes I go home with tons of blisters, some bleeding with skin rubbed off and some with trapped blood underneath, calluses with blood trapped underneath, black toes (long middle toes and big toes with tendency for ingrown nails), and I have flat feet. Sorry for the TMI back there but if you hike for long hours you will know what I am talking about. I hike in the Badlands trails in North Dakota and I don't know how they compare to trails elsewhere, but I can tell you that these trails are not easy and mild according to their description. I got a small scratch on the shoe after the first wear because I hit a sharp rock as I was climbing up.These shoes did not need breaking in, I received them 2 days before I went on a 6 hour hike, I wore them around the house for a few minutes to make sure I got the right size. They are wide enough that my toes do not get squished even after I finished the hike, the front is hard where my toes do not feel the bumps I encounter, going downhill my middle toes got a few bumps but no black nails afterwards (this is also makes me wonder if next time I should get another half size up). The lace are comfortable to tie and don't untie constantly while you walk, traction is good, I felt I was gripping the ground with my feet which gave me much freedom climbing up and down. Arch support is great and I only started trying insoles with arch support a week before I got these shoes but they were very comfortable. They are not heavy. I felt like I was wearing shoes with heels when I walked at the beginning since the sole is thick, and boy was I grateful for that thickness, the trail I did was full of rocks and hard grass and I was in full control. The edges are not raised much so if you are into ankle support you may not like these, but they were comfortable for me and were high enough but low enough for freedom of movement. The color is the typical brown. I usually wear 2 pairs of socks and put tape on all the areas where I tend to get blisters on. After the 6 hour hike I was still able to walk like a normal person, 3 blisters only but not major bloody ones. I would buy these shoes again but may go another half size up out of curiosity of how they would fit.
