I do not use these for shrimp, but for my calcium pills and any veggie snail food to hold and contain without it sinking into my substrate. Happy with it as it does the job, but wish there was an option for an even smaller size for what I put in mine.

Use it for feeding neocaridina shrimp and nerite snails. Pretty sturdy, have dropped it into fish tank(full of water of course) and the dish has lightly hit tank decorations/gravel on the way down without scratching or cracking. Very good mini glass dish for the price!
