I have a sit in ascend kayak, but I didn't want to haul it when I take the camper. This is so much better material than it shows in the pictures. Everything fits back in storage bag. The seat is fabulous. This is wider than a normal kayak, so paddling is a little more industrious than usual. It's perfect for getting out and fishing back to the bank. Time will tell how it lasts, but so far I'm very impressed.

I purchased this as i thought it would be a great lightweight lake fishing kayak. I found using it was difficult to paddle with because its so wide. Using a kayak paddle (maybe it was the kayak paddle i was using since one was not included) struggled to paddle smoothly. i ended up returning it. i love the idea but didn't work for me

This is actually a great little boat. I think it's better than a float tube. And I actually think it's better than their Backwoods 85, I like how I can easily sit up on the back tube very comfortably. It would actually be the perfect little boat if it had some sort of drop stitch floor or rigid floor I would have kept it if it had that but I ended up returning mine due to other reasons nothing against the boat itself.

This is the very best and most fun inflatable kayak I have ever had, it is very light weight and extremeley well made, I purchased two of these kayaks for traveling in mu motorhome in Montana and Lake Mead Nevada. I carry them in my Polaris RZR for high altitude lakes in Montana for Fly rod fishing. I give this Kayak 5-stars!

Picked up two of these to keep in our van for spur-of-the-moment kayaking on mountain lakes. Packs down very small, and can fit in a 30l drybag/backpack very easily. Inflates and deflates VERY quickly. Seat it quite nice, it keeps you off of the floor of the kayak and is comfortable. Would be very easy to carry in a few miles on a hike without any issues.It is an inflatable, without fins, so it doesn't track as well as a hard kayak would, but with just a little practice, you figure out the right amount of paddle to dip in the water and how much force to use. You also have to "trust" the design, sit back, and relax. I had no trouble at all keeping it tracking straight. I have some rafting experience and would feel safe in this in class I-II, easily.It may look spendy for what you see in the picture, but what you are paying for is the material and engineering. This is not a simple raft. The TPU material is super light weight and durable. Very happy with the purchase and will be getting a lot of use on the lakes and rivers here in Colorado.
